CDAC stands for Centre for Development of Advanced Computing and is a  Research and Development organization that comes under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). CDAC Organises an entrance examination C-CAT for the candidate seeking a PG diploma course in various disciplines like computer science, mobile computing, electronics, etc. The examination is commenced twice a year.   • Now, register on the website using your name, Email ID, and Password followed by verifying your email ID
  • After verification is done, a form will appear where you have to enter form details
  • Now, upload the documents mentioned below and click on the Next button
  • You’ll be redirected to the payments page, and pay the application fee as per your choice of papers
  • Make sure you have taken a printout of the application form and payment receipt

 CDAC C-CAT Examination Pattern

The candidate has to attempt the sections according to the courses he/she applied for. For each correct answer, the candidates will be provided with 3 marks, and for the wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. CDAC C-CAT Counselling

Counseling is an event where seat allocations will be provided to the candidates who have successfully cleared the examination. In this event, the candidate has to submit his/her documents which are mentioned below, and confirm their seat by paying the first installment of the fee.

Can a Diploma holder participate in the C-CAT examination?

No, a Diploma holder cannot participate in the C-CAT entrance examination. You’ll have to be a graduate with a B.Tech/ B.E. or a related degree to pursue this diploma.

What is the duration of the C-CAT course in CDAC?
