JIO Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Performance

10th Class

• SSC: With score over 70%
• CBSE/ICSE: score over 85%

11th Class

• Other Board: over 70%
• CBSE/ICSE: Over 85%

12th Class

• Other Board: over 65%
• CBSE/ICSE: over 80%

Graduation level

• With a minimum of 75% in the respective university examinations

Post-Graduation Level

• With a minimum of 75% in the respective university examination

Nationality

• The applicant must be an Indian National with Indian Citizenship

• The applicant must belong to Economically Weaker Section as this scholarship aims to empower EWS category students

Selection Procedure for JIO Scholarship

The candidates eligible for scholarship are based on merit list prepared based on the education track record and other essential factos like income, gender, etc. The following is the selection procedure for JIO Scholarship-

• After the candidate submitted his/her application, the concerned authorities will go thorugh the screening process
• A merit list will be prepared and students with good track record will be selected. If ment necessary a test can also be conducted
• Certain reservations may also be given to the candidates on the basis of their category, gender, annual income, etc.
• Now after preparing the merit list, the verification of the documents will be analysed
• After the verification process is completed the scholarship grant will be provided to the candidate.
