JKCET Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of JKCET is as follows-

  • The candidate must be a permanent citizen of Jammu & Kashmir
  • The candidate must be 12th passed with 50% marks, relaxation for reserved category to 40%. Candidates applying for Engineering courses must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with English as compulsory subjects
  • The minimum required age for applying for JKCET is 17 years old

  • Visit the official website of the Jammu & Kashmir ITI- jkbopee.gov.in
  • Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ and start filling in the required details like email ID password etc.
  • Now, verify the email by clicking on the verification link send by Jammu & Kashmir CET
  • Now, Log in to your account and click on the apply button
  • A form will appear, fill the form with correct information
  • Now upload your scanned passport size photograph
  • Now you have to upload the scanned copy of all the certificates and documents mentioned below
  • Now a payment gateway will open where you have to pay the application fee using Credit/Debit, UPI, Net Banking, or challan
  • Take a print out of the payment confirmation slip and the application for future uses

JKCET Examination Pattern

The Mode of the exam is Offline pen and paper-based. For each correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 1 mark and there is 0.25 marks deduction for wrong answer. The following are the examination pattern of JKCET-

A counseling session will be organized for the candidates who have qualified for the entrance examination. Based on the merit list, the candidates will be offered different colleges to choose from.
