NSOU Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria for NSOU-

B.A. (English)	Candidate must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 40% marks in English.
B.A.(Others)	Candidate must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 40% marks in respective subjects from a recognized board.
B.Sc.	Candidate must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 40% marks in respective subjects from the recognized board with science subjects.
B.Com	Candidate must have passed 10+2 with commerce subjects from Recognized board.
M.Sc.(mathematics)	Honors graduate in mathematics or must have scored 50% marks in Mathematics subjects for other graduates.
M.A.	Candidates must be honored graduates or have 50% marks in graduation.
Diploma in DTP and Networking	Candidate must have 10th pass certificate or Entrepreneurship development and small business management, security  management and  safety skills
Post-Graduation Diploma courses in Travel and Tourism, English Language Teaching, Public Relations, and advertising, journalism and mass communication	The candidate must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

NSOU 2024 Application Form

You can follow these steps to fill the application form online-

• Visit the official website of NSOU and click on the apply button- http://www.wbnsou.ac.in/
• The application form will be opened, fill the form with accurate information and click on the Next button
• After that, you have to upload the digital photograph, signature, and other documents
• Now Click on the submit button, a new screen with all the information filled will appear, review the application and check for all the details again
• Now pay the fee online using Net banking, credit card, or debit card
• Your application is filled, take a printout of the application and payment receipt for future use

The following are the documents that are necessary for filling the NSOU application form-

• Latest Scanned photo passport size
• 10 and 12 certificates scanned
• Graduate/ Marks Sheet
• Master’s Degree/ Marks Sheet
• Scanned signature of the candidate
• Aadhaar card number and a scanned copy

NSOU Application Fee

The application fee for NSOU is Rs.900/- which can be paid online using credit/debit card, UPI, Net banking, IMPS, etc.

NSOU Admission Process

The admission process for NSOU is based on the qualifying examination. A merit list will be prepared along with a cut-off marks which is the minimum marks required by the candidates to take admission into the university.

NSOU cut-off

The cut-off mark is the minimum mark required by the candidates to pass the exam. The cut-off marks vary year to year and depend on multiple factors like the number of students participating, the toughness of the exam, and much more. A merit list will be prepared which list the candidates who have passed the score more marks than the cut-off marks.

NSOU Counselling

Counselling is a process where the candidates who have passed the Entrance examination finalize their admission to the course. In this event, you have to visit the venue on the notified date with the necessary documents and confirm your seat. You have to select the college that you want to choose as well. Make sure you have at least 2 Xerox copies of the documents mentioned below-

• Class 10 /high school or its equivalent examination certificate
