PESSAT stands for PES Scholastic Aptitude Test. This is the only test that can guarantee your admission to PES University. The examination level is very easy compared to the other engineering entrance examinations such as VITEEE, MET, JEE, and BITSAT. About PESSAT

PESSAT is a university-level test administered by PES University, Bangalore, for admission to undergraduate and graduate programs every year. A public announcement regarding the PESSAT 2024 Exam Date was made recently. The exam will take place from July 30 to August 20, 2024. To book the PESSAT 2024 slots, students need to be registered on a first-come, first-served basis. Those candidates outside of Bangalore have until July 25, while those in Bangalore have until July 30, 2024, to register for the PESSAT 2024 exam.

It is the responsibility of PES University to design the exam pattern and syllabus. In addition to the total number of questions, marks distribution, marking scheme, and other related details of the exam, the exam pattern also provides information about how marks are distributed. Three different papers were given. Each one lasted three hours (180 minutes) and contained the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English.

The eligibility requirements for PESSAT

If you are interested in applying for PESSAT, it is mandatory to be sure that you meet all the criteria. A different set of eligibility criteria applies to different types of courses. Applicants are advised to thoroughly review the eligibility criteria before proceeding to fill out the application form.

For PESSAT 2024, only Indian citizens are eligible to apply. To qualify for the various courses offered by PES University, you must meet the following criteria:

Coursework for the B. Tech degree

  • Candidates must have passed their 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board to be considered.
  • A qualified candidate must have taken Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics in their qualifying examinations.
  • To qualify for the qualifying examination, candidates must have scored at least 60% on the aggregate.

Coursework for MTech

  • It is a prerequisite that full-time candidates have completed B. Tech in a related field that is in turn recognized by the board.

Bachelor of Business Administration

  • Candidates must have passed their 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board to be considered.

MBA Program

  • Applicants for the position of Creative Director should have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • All candidates are eligible to apply, including appearing candidates.

Master of Computer Applications

  • The candidate must have graduated from a recognized university in any field requiring a Bachelor degree.
  • It is required that candidates pass the qualifying examination with a Computer Science or Mathematics or Computer Programming or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics or Statistics selected as one of the electives.
  • To be eligible for the qualifying examination, candidates must have scored a minimum of 50%.

BBA LLB and B.Arch.

  • B.Arch. Applicants must have passed the NATA examination before being accepted into the program.
  • A candidate must have passed the CLAT examination to be eligible for admission to the BBA LLB program.
  • The application form for the PESSAT 2024 exam requires that candidates upload their NATA or CLAT scorecard.

Candidates who do not meet the eligibility requirements for a particular course are not eligible to apply for PESSAT 2024.

PESSAT 2024 Application Form

There is no offline application mode for PESSAT 2024. All applications must be filled out online. You can download the application forms. In addition, candidates must complete the application form carefully because the university will reject incorrectly filled-out forms.

PESSAT 2024 application forms need to be filled out and submitted in the following ways:

  • You may learn more by visiting the official website of PES University, www.pes.edu
  • On the “New Registration” page, fill out the form.
  • Then select the course you want. You will need to provide your name, gender, date of birth, and email address.
  • You need to click on “proceed” to continue.
  • You need to provide all the information asked for.
  • During the registration process, you will be assigned a registration number.
  • Make sure your passport photo is the right size.
  • Choosing the mode of payment and paying the application fee are the next steps.

PESSAT Slot Booking

To apply for PESSAT 2024, you must pay INR 1050. Candidates may make their payments via online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline (demand draft/challenge). You will need to send in a demand draft in the name of “PES University General Fund”, payable in Bangalore. The candidate who chooses to make the payment through Challan or Demand Draft must also submit the printed application form at the following address along with the Challan or Demand Draft:

A slot reservation period for PESSAT 2024 begins on April 24, 2024, for B. Tech courses and January 6, 2024, for other courses. During slot booking, candidates can choose the time and date of their examination according to their preferences. Those who wish to participate will do so on a first-come, first-served basis. When booking a time slot, candidates must provide their personal information. If a candidate has already booked a slot, they will not be allowed to make changes.

After the recruitment slot booking is completed, PESSAT 2024 admit cards will be available for download to the candidates. The candidate must enter the username and password to download the admit card from the university’s official website. Candidates who do not have their admit cards will not be permitted to sit for the exam.

PESSAT Syllabus

In PESSAT 2024, the syllabus varies depending on which course you’d like to take. Candidates must be familiar with the syllabus of the entrance examination to achieve high scores. Specifically for B. Tech, the syllabus for PESSAT 2024 will be based on the 11th and 12th grades. Chemists and physicists should study the topics of 11th and 12th-grade Physics and Mathematics. Students planning to take the 11th and 12th-grade examinations should focus on reviewing their 11th and 12th-grade textbooks.

You will be tested on Verbal Ability/English Comprehension, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Quantitative Reasoning in other courses. Candidates can also solve previous year question papers for those looking to score high in PESSAT 2024.
