Under this scheme, the private schools must take in admission from the weaker section of society. The selection of the candidates from the weaker section will be based on a lottery system. UP RTE Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria for UP RTE admission-

  • The age of the candidate taking admission should be between 3 year and 7 year old
  • The income of the child’s family should be 3.5 Lakh rupees or less annually
  • Candidate should be a citizen of India and a domicile of Uttar Pradesh

RTE UP Application Form 2023

The following are the application form for step by step application fee for RTE UP-

  • Visit the official website of RTE portal and click on the apply button, the official website is http://rte25.upsdc.gov.in/
  • The application form will be opened, fill the form with accurate information and click on the Next button
  • Now Click on the submit button, a new screen with all the information filled will appear, review the application and check for all the details again
  • Now, select the schools out of the list of 15 schools coming under their selected area
  • Submit the application form with all the required details and they have to take the print out of it for future use

RTE UP 2023 Selection Procedure

After the submission of the application form, the candidates who applied will be selected based on the lottery system. The result of the lottery will be uploaded online on the official website. Candidates who are selected for the invited candidates have to visit the school premises with the below-mentioned documents. After the document verification process, the candidates will be given a seat for education.

The following are the documents that are required for RTE UP-

  • Age Proof (Aadhaar Card / Ration Card / Birth Certificate)
  • Income Certificate of Parents to prove annual income of parents is less than Rs. 1 lakh.
  • Report of Registered Diagnostic Center (in case of HIV / Cancer Affected Parent)
  • War Widow Certificate
  • Resident Certificate (Children / Parents)
  • Orphanage Certificate
  • BPL Card (Center / State List)
  • Disability Certificate
  • Resident Certificate (Children / Parents)
