UP BTC Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The candidate needs to check his/her eligibility to ensure a smooth admission process in the desired course. The eligibility criteria for UP BTC admission is as follows-
- Candidate must have a minimum age limit from 21 years to 31 years
- Candidates who have successfully completed graduation in any field (B.A, BSc, B.COM, B.C.A, BBA, B.Tech). Arts, Science and Commerce students are also eligible to apply with 50% Marks can apply
- Candidate should have done BTC (Basic Training Certificate)
UP BTC Admission 2023 Application Form
The application form for UP BTC admission can be filled using online means. The following are the steps that the candidate must follow to register him/her for the BTC course-
- Visit the official website of the UP BTC- https://updeled.gov.in/
- Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ and start filling in the required details like email ID password etc.
- Now, verify the email by clicking on the verification link send by UP BTC
- Now, Log in to your account and click on the apply button
- A form will appear, fill the form with correct information
- Now upload your scanned passport size photograph
- Now you have to upload the scanned copy of all the certificates and documents mentioned below
- Now a payment gateway will open where you have to pay the application fee using Credit/Debit, UPI, Net Banking, or challan
- Take a print out of the payment confirmation slip and the application for future uses

- Scanned Passport Size photograph under 1 MB
- Scanned copy of class 8th, 10th, or 12 class passed certificate/ Mark Sheet showcasing all the marks obtained in the subjects
- Undertaking as per (Annexure XVI) of the prospectus is to be submitted in candidates own handwriting and uploaded in the in PDF Format
BTC Application Fee
The application fee for the UP BTC application form depends on the category that the candidate belongs to. The following is the application fee of the UP BTC registration-

Admission/Selection Procedure for UP BTC
The selection will be based on the merit list released by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). A minimum cut-off mark is released and the candidates who scored more marks than minimum cut-off marks will be selected for further counselling procedure.
Counseling
A counseling session will be organized for the candidates who have qualified for the entrance examination. Based on the merit list, the candidates will be offered different colleges to choose from. You can choose the colleges based on your liking, fees, location, etc. when appearing for the counseling session of a particular college, the candidate must provide relevant documents in original as well as a printout. - Class X and XII certificates
- Graduation mark sheet/ Degree
- Domicile of Uttar Pradesh
- Registration number and Slip
