VGU 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the VGU entrance exam 2024 are as follows-

Eligibility criteria for UG courses

 B.TechCandidate having more than 80% marks in class 12th / on the basis of UNIGUAGE Score/ JEE MAIN Score B
 B.TechCandidate having more than 70% marks in class 12th / on the basis of UNIGUAGE Score/ JEE MAIN Score B
 B.Tech All other students on vacant seats
 B.ArchOn the basis of NATA Score / 20 Seats are reserved for JEE-2 Candidates (As per the eligibility of COA)
LAW (BA-LL.B, BBA-LLB) On the basis of CLAT and LSAT Score
B.Design On the basis of the decode exam or class 12th score
Other UG Courses On the basis of class 12th score

Eligibility criteria for PG courses

M.Tech  Candidate must be passed in B.Tech, relevant 10+2+4 course with at least of 50% marks from a recognized University   Rank obtained in GATE exam
MBA & PGDMCandidate must be passed in 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognized university
M.Sc Marks scored in PGAT entrance examination
Ph.DCandidate must have cleared a postgraduate course or equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks

  • Visit the official website of VGU and click on the apply button. The official website of VGU   University is
  • Candidates has to register themselves first using email ID and password
  • The application form will be opened, fill the form with accurate information and click on the Next button
  • After that, you have to upload the digital photograph, signature, and other documents
  • Now Click on the submit button, a new screen with all the information filled will appear, review the application and check for all the details again
  • Now pay the fee online using Net banking, credit card, or debit card
  • Your application is filled, take a print out of the application and payment receipt for future use

VGU Selection Process

The selection process in VGU will be done on the national level entrance examination conducted on the country level for admission into different courses. These examinations have their own eligibility criteria and allot a candidate with a score card. VGU Admit Card 2024

Admit card for VGU 2024 admit card is released usually, 2-3 weeks before the examination. You can download the admit card from the official website. It is important for the candidates participating in the VGU entrance exam to follow the guidelines mentioned on the Admit card.

VGU 2024 Exam Result

The Exam result will be released within a month or two after the examination is conducted. Along with the result, a cut-off will also be released which is the minimum marks required for the candidates to pass the examination for admission.­­­


Counselling is a process where the candidates who have passed the Entrance test finalizes their seats and the admission to the VGU colleges is confirmed. In this event, you have to visit the venue on the notified date with the necessary documents and confirm your seat.

Documents Required for Counselling

The following are the document that you have to carry when visiting the counselling session-

  • Class 10 /high school or its equivalent examination certificate
  • Class 12 marks sheet/ grade sheet or equivalent qualifying
  • 10 recent color photographs
  • Migration/ transfer/ character certificate from the last attended institution
  • SC/ST/OBC Category certificates (if any)
  • Entrance Exam Result
  • Admission fee payment at the cash counter of the admission venue either in cash or through bank demand draft (DD) from a nationalized bank.
