The XAT is a standardized test for admission to Management Programmes in Top MBA colleges of India. The cut-offs of the XAT score are generally higher than the CAT score. Almost all the Top Colleges prefer XAT score over CAT/MAT score for admission in their management programmes. (Nearly 150 colleges use XAT for selection)

The XAT-series exams are a unique and innovative feature of the Amity University program. The XAT-series exams provide an opportunity for students to get a glimpse of the competitive scenario at an early stage of their academic career.

It is also a platform for them to evaluate their abilities after completing the first year of classroom education, and it creates and measures the self-motivation necessary for taking on the mammoth challenges that they will be likely to face in the future related to examinations. The question paper is objectively based and covers all the areas of MBA taught during first-year classes.

XAT Eligibility Criteria:-

• The candidate should be a Non-Teaching and Graduate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant work areas and inclined to handle Research/Projects. Candidates with experience in managing research projects are preferred.
• Candidates who will be engaged in preparing a course in the year 2024 and will complete their final year exam by the stipulated deadline may also appear for XAT 2024 exam.
• No age limit is prescribed for appearing in the XAT exam. However, students should be careful about choosing an appropriate undergraduate course depending upon his/her eligibility criteria. If a student has passed their 12 standard examinations with more than 50 % marks, he/she is more likely to obtain a higher percentile in the XAT 2024 Exam.

XAT Exam 2024 Educational Qualifications:-

The candidates must have a graduation degree of three years to be eligible for the XAT Exam 2024. A graduation degree can be of any stream but should be issued by a well-reputed university or college.

Minimum Percentage Required for XAT Exam 2024:-

XAT has announced a new rule for XAT 2024. Candidates can apply for the test if they have a passing score in the qualifying course and if their scoring in any of the sections is at least 40%. The rest of the conditions are still all the same. This rule is not applicable for candidates who do not have any qualifying exam. Process of Converting Grades into Percentage:

Candidates must take the percentile equivalent of the grades obtained in their college based on the table drawn below. This ensures that no candidate is discriminated against by a scoring system adopted by a particular university.

Reservation Policy for XAT Exam 2024:-

With no caste-based reservation policy, XAT 2024 takes the test taker’s ability into account. Apart from being a test of quantitative skills, XAT 2024 measures their ability to think beyond the confines of traditional bookish knowledge and visualize the world around them.

Foreign Candidates and NRIs Eligibility Criteria for XAT Exam 2024 – 2025:-

So, next year admissions for foreign nationals and NRI candidates will become easier. The IIMs have decided to accept scores of GMAT and CAT, as well as GRE and XAT scores, submitted between December 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024. Earlier, the IIMs were accepting GMAT results presented in June 2024. “We have modified our eligibility criteria for the admission season for students with a valid score in either GRE or GMAT/CAT/XAT,” an official spokesperson told ET.

XAT 2024 Admit Card:-

Candidates have to download the XAT 2024 Admit Card from the official website, and it will be available for the students before three weeks of examination to be held. Candidates can check the contents of their admit card by login in with the help of ID and passwords provided to them at the time of registering for the XAT Exam

XAT Application Form:-

For all the applicants, the very first process is to get registered and fill in their respective details like name, DOB, address, roll no of previous graduation degree, etc. The registration process starts in September every year and continues till November.  

XAT 2024 – 2025 Exam Pattern:-

The question paper is based on MCQs pattern means it is an objective paper. Earlier it was 3.5 hours and now the duration has been reduced to 3 hours. 

Examination Form Filling Process:-

• Registration:

Once the candidate has registered himself/herself in the application form of the exam he/she is required to check the message box provided on the homepage. They should make sure that they have entered their complete and correct information because once they give their incorrect information it cannot be modified later on especially after 24 hours. Some of the information needed to submit. The candidates are then required to fill the application form properly along with providing relevant and accurate details. The candidates applying under the different categories have to provide the details accurately and by the provided set of instructions.

• Fill the Academic Details:

After successful logging, you are required to fill out some basic details like the name of the job candidate, application sequence, gender, contact details, email address, address details following. The next section is for uploading scanned copies of certain documents such as passport-sized photographs and signatures.

• Filling Work Experience Details :

The Work Experience section of your application is the place where you explain to us your most important qualifications beyond what is already written on your résumé. Make sure you answer this question. Plainly stating that you’ve had no work experience or listing your experience without providing details doesn’t serve the purpose of this section. To help focus your thoughts, please only enter work experience acquired after graduating from college (or at least during the same decade).

• Payment of Fees:-

The fee can be submitted in two ways, either through PayU or BillDesk. The students are recommended to go through the following options for submitting the fee online –

The application fee in all categories except the NRI category is INR 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only). For those candidates belonging to the NRI category, the application fee will be $17. The fees will be inclusive of bank charges. The payment procedure is not so tricky and very convenient for all the students to make the payment.
