The preliminary exam of MPSC is conducted in three stages such as preliminary exam, mains exam and personal interview.

The preliminary exam they took two papers, first paper and second paper, in the first paper contain 200 marks with 150 questions and second paper also contains 200 marks but with 80 questions.
