KVS Vacancy 2024 Notification out: A notification was released by the KVS offering Recruitment into various posts like TGT, PGT, PRT, etc.

KVS Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria is the minimum requirement that the KVS is seeking to allow the candidates to participate in the entrance examination.

This criteria or standard must be met by the individual to participate in the entrance examination. The Eligibility criteria for KVS Recruitment 2024 is as follows-

KVS Principal Eligibility

  • The candidates participating must be a Post-Graduation & B.Ed with 8 Years of Experience in teaching
  • The minimum age criteria for participating in the entrance examination 35 to 50 years

KVS Vice-Principal Eligibility

  • The candidates participating must be a Post-Graduation & B. Ed with 5 Years of Experience in teaching
  • The minimum age criteria for participating in the entrance examination 35 to 45 years

KVS PGT Eligibility (All Subjects)

  • The candidate must have Two Year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the subject concerned

OR

  • The candidate must have Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects              
  • The maximum age criteria for participating in the entrance examination 40 years

KVS TGT Eligibility (All Subjects)

  • The candidate must be a graduate and B.Ed with the requisite subject at Graduation Level
  • The maximum age limit for participating in the entrance examination is 35 years

KVS PRT Eligibility (All Subjects)

  • The candidate must have Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks

AND

  • A 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education

OR

  • 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.)

OR

  • 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

OR

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education
  • The maximum age limit for participating in the entrance examination is 30 Years

KVS Librarian Eligibility

  • The candidates must have a Bachelor degree in Library Science

OR

  • Graduate with one-year diploma in Library Science from a recognized institution
  • 35 Years (maximum)

KVS Assistant Section officer Eligibility

  • The candidate must have a graduate degree with 3 years’ experience as UDC in Central/State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings
  • The maximum age limit for participating in the entrance examination is 35 years

KVS Finance Officer Eligibility

  • The candidate must have a B.Com degree with 50% marks in the aggregate and atleast 4 years post qualification experience in the Audit and Accounts works.

OR

  • The candidate must have a M.Com with 50% marks and at least 3 years post qualification experience in the Audit and Accounts works

OR

  • The candidates having CA (Inter) or ICWA (Inter) or MBA (Finance) or PGDM (Finance) (2 years full time or 3 years part time) with 2 years post qualification experience in the Audit and Accounts works can also participate for this post
  • The maximum age limit for participating in the entrance examination is 35 years

KVS Assistant Commissioner Eligibility

  • The candidate must have a Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks.

OR

  • The candidate must have a B.Ed or equivalent degree    
  • The maximum age limit for participating in the entrance examination is 50 years

KVS Assistant Engineer Eligibility

  • The candidate must have a Graduate degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University and 2 years’ experience in design and engineering in concerned branch

OR

  • 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute and 5 years’ experience
  • The maximum age limit for participating in the entrance examination is 35 years

KVS Stenographer Grade II Eligibility

  • The candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent from a recognized Board or University
  • The maximum age limit for participating in the entrance examination is 27 years

KVS Senior Secretariat Assistant Eligibility

  • The candidate must have a Graduate with Three years experience as LDC in Central Govt./ Govt./Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings          
  • The maximum age limit for participating in the entrance examination is 30 years

KVS Senior Junior Secretariat Assistant Eligibility

  • The candidate must be a Class XII pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university with a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer
  • Must have a working knowledge of Hindi along with Knowledge of Computer Applications
  • The maximum age limit for participating in the entrance examination is 27 years

KVS Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The KVS Recruitment Selection Process is divided into 70:30 wherein 70% of the weightage will be given to the written entrance examination, 15% weightage is of demo teaching, and the rest 15% weightage for the interviews.

The interview is of 30 marks and the candidate will be scored according to the performance in the interview.

Based on the marks scored by the candidate, cut-off marks will be prepared and the candidate’s selection will be based on the merit list prepared according to the marks scored by the candidate.
