Sainik School Admission 2024-25 Dates Announced.

Sainik School is an elite school that is managed by the Sainik School Satara under the Ministry of Defence. It was primarily a boy-only school however, the school now allows girls to take admission as well.

The admission into the school takes place from class 6th onwards and goes till class 12th. The school’s primary aim is to prepare the candidates for facilitating the candidate’s entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Indian Naval Academy (INA).

Sainik School is one of the largest contributors to the Armed Forces in the country making it a primary choice for patriotic candidates.

The school follows the CBSE Plus system which provides basic education along with military discipline and curriculum to make it easy for the candidates to get into the NDA and INA.

There are a total of 33 Sainik Schools in the country with many proposed schools, for taking admission the candidates must go through an entrance examination along with an interview.

The entrance examination or admission into the Sainik School is called the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) and is primarily for the classes 6th and 9th only.

Sainik School Admission 2024-25 Process

Admission into the Sainik School will be based on the merit list prepared which will consist of the marks scored by the candidates in both the Written Examination and Medical Test. The candidates who have made it to the final merit list will have to submit their documents to the school followed by blocking /her seat. The following are the documents that you have to submit while taking admission-
